Hi, My name is Carol and I own Carol’s Long Arm Quilting Service.

I was born and raised in Welland, Ontario and at a young age my mother taught me to sew, knit and hand embroider. These skills have served me well over the years. 

She also taught me the joy of quilting.  I’ve had the pleasure of watching my Mother quilt for over 40 years and I own many of her beautiful quilts.  I’ve even hand quilted some of them over the years. She was the ultimate fabric recycler and she loved scrappy quilting.  

Over the years I’ve enjoyed piecing quilts together, hand quilting and appliqué work. There is something satisfying about working with your hands.   

In the fall of 2017 I purchased a Handi Quilter, Avente 18 with Pro Stitcher, on a 12 foot frame and I absolutely fell in love with long arm quilting.  This new tool has opened up a whole new world for me.
